Shaping the future
CNC Machines
The CNC department has four dedicated CNC machines, three Homag and a Maka. Three have five axis ability with the fourth a four axis machine . All are a mixture of matrix bed or pod & beam.
Veneering
The veneer shop houses a traditional zig zag stitcher and glue edge jointer. We are one of the few companies in the country that have the ability to sand 1650mm wide. Single head calibration with finishing sander & joinery sander ( complete with brushing aggregate head ) all with 5 heads.
Saw & Store
Hazlin have the capacity to sort and store 1500 door blanks. All ready for remote selection with our Homag TLF411 feeding into a Homag HPP400 beam saw. The saw has the ability to cut two 54mm thick doors at the same time allowing a cycle of 1.5minutes per door blank. The storage system allows full traceability of all door blank selection.
Lipping
Our Homag allows the ability to apply up to an 80 mm lipping. The machine processes six doors per cycle allowing us to lip the cycle within 15mins ( less than 3mins per door ). Air bed conveyors allow a two man operation.
Finishing
Three spray shops allow us to offer a wide range of finishes from water-based to high build PU lacquer. Wagner 2K machines allow us to spray with freshly catlysed lacquers to maintain a high quality finish.
Joinery
We have a fully stacked joinery shop which gives Hazlin full control over the door assemblies we provide. We have invested in a Weinig vari-rip breakout saw which feeds into a Weinig s60 cross cut saw, which in turn leads into a six head Weinig powermat moulder. All joinery is sanded with a Homag 775 five head machine. Any spindling is carried out by the Martin T27 CNC spindle.
